In a rare opportunity, MSU-IIT Chancellor Atty. Alizedney M. Ditucalan visited Congressman Eddiebong Plaza and Congressman Alfel Bascug to discuss university management and strengthening educational frameworks. ASSCAT President Dr. Joy Capistrano and CHED-Caraga RD Alma Sy-Patron also joined the discussion, focusing on research and development, and ASSCAT’s transition to a state university.

Chancellor Ditucalan expressed MSU-IIT’s commitment to assisting ASSCAT in policy formulation and capacity building, ensuring that both institutions collaborate for better educational outcomes in the region.

The meeting took place during the participation of SUC officials in the 2025 budget hearing for State Universities.
