Earlier today, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga conducted an Educational Payout under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), benefiting 806 qualified students of Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) with P3,000 each.

The beneficiaries were meticulously selected through an eligibility verification process, in close coordination with ASSCAT, ensuring they are bona fide residents of Agusan del Sur and currently enrolled in the institution.

The event was graced by esteemed provincial officials, including Congressman Adolph Edward G. Plaza, Vice-Governor Samuel E. Tortor, members of the Agusan del Sur Sangguniang Panlalawigan, and municipal leaders, Hon. Sylvia B. Elorde, Municipal Mayor of Bunawan, Hon. Gilbert G. Elorde, Vice Mayor of Bunawan and members of the Sangguniang Bayan.
