CONG PLAZA, CONG BASCUG PROVIDE PLENARY SUPPORT FOR QUICK APPROVAL OF ASSCAT’S 2025 BUDGET

Cong Eddiebong Plaza and Cong Alfel Bascug met and conferred with CHED Commissioner Dr. Marita Rana Canapi and ASSCAT President Joy Capistrano before the proposed 2025 ASSCAT budget was deliberated upon and approved in the Plenary during the continuation of the interpellation and debates on the proposed 2025 National Budget.

Cong. Eddiebong Plaza conducted a thorough review of the budgetary items of ASSCAT ensuring that all the budgetary allocations for the ongoing soil science research initiatives are all in place. Cong Alfel Bascug, on the other hand, checked on the ongoing progress of 2024 infrastructure projects within the campus. CHED Commissioner Canapi and President Joy Capistrano committed to proactively engage with the Congressional offices in the urgent need to fill out all the additional teaching items preparatory to the full conversion of ASSCAT into a university.
