The visit was led by Team Eddiebong, which includes Congressman Adolph Edward G. Plaza, Congressman Alfelito Bascug, Governor Santiago B. Cane Jr., and Vice Governor Samuel E. Tortor, reinforcing the provincial government’s support for enhanced staff living facilities. Local leaders from the Municipality of Bunawan, including Vice Mayor Gilbert G. Elorde, were also present to show their support for the project.
The housing project, funded through efforts by Congressmen Plaza and Bascug, aligns with ASSCAT’s approved Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP). The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will oversee construction to ensure quality and adherence to the projected timeline.
This initiative is expected to benefit ASSCAT’s workforce while supporting the institution’s long-term goals. Strengthening ties between ASSCAT and Team Eddiebong, the project is anticipated to enhance the college’s growth, contributing to Agusan del Sur’s broader development objectives.
