ASSCAT Joins Global Talent Mobility Pact Through INTENSE Program

Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) is now part of a growing network of Philippine institutions opening new doors for global learning and industry experience.

On April 28, 2025, ASSCAT President Joy C. Capistrano took part in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the International Industrial Talents Education (INTENSE) Program at the Technological University of the Philippines–Manila. The Taiwan-led initiative connects students with academic training, internships, and employment pathways in fields such as STEM and finance.

For ASSCAT, this signals a deliberate move toward expanding international linkages—creating practical avenues for students to access cross-border opportunities and upskilling platforms. The partnership supports both the College’s innovation thrust and the broader goal of making quality education more inclusive and globally relevant.

This effort also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all, industry innovation (SDG 9), and partnerships for sustainable development (SDG 17).
