ASSCAT Stengthens ASEAN Ties at the 1st ASEAN Agriculture and Forest Summit

Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, President of Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), delivered an inspiring speech on “The Joy in Service and Spontaneity” during the 1st ASEAN Agriculture and Forest Summit held at WVSU-College of Agriculture and Forestry in Iloilo City, Philippines, on August 27, 2024.

The summit, which brought together experts and stakeholders from across Southeast Asia, addressed critical issues in agriculture and wildlife conservation. Dr. Capistrano’s talk highlighted the value of service-oriented leadership and adaptability, resonating with the summit’s goal of fostering sustainable practices and innovative solutions in the region.

Prof. Vivian C. Peligro, ASSCAT’s Director for International Relations and External Linkages Affairs, also attended, contributing to discussions on cross-border collaboration.
