ASSCAT Officials Discuss Future Collaborations with DENR Regional Director

On August 12, 2024, key officials from the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) visited the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Regional Office to explore potential collaborative efforts. The ASSCAT delegation, led by College President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, included Dennis M. Gilbero, Chairperson of the College of Agriculture Research and Creative Works; John Paul A. Camino, Extension Coordinator of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Engr. Janice C. Puspos, Executive Assistant III.

 

During the meeting with DENR OIC Regional Executive Director Maritess M. Ocampo, discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in research, extension, and instruction. This initial dialogue marks a significant step towards strengthening ASSCAT’s contributions to sustainable development in the region.
