ASSCAT Kicks Off 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with Renewed Commitment to Public Service

Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) officially kicked off the celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary today, September 2, 2024, during its regular Monday convocation. Spearheaded by the ASSCATHuman Resource Management Office, the event was attended by faculty, staff, and top management, including President Joy C. Capistrano, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Deans.

The celebration highlighted the steadfast dedication of government workers, with senior leaders delivering powerful messages that emphasized the core values of integrity, resilience, and unwavering commitment to public service. Speakers urged all government employees to embrace the true essence of their roles, regardless of the challenges they may encounter. In a symbolic moment, the ASSCAT community collectively reaffirmed their pledge to public service by reciting the “Panunumpa ng Kawani ng Gobyerno,” demonstrating their renewed dedication to serving the nation with honor and integrity.

The event also introduced upcoming programs and activities aimed at promoting the ideals of a servant-hero, marking ASSCAT’s active participation in the nationwide Civil Service Month observance.
