ASSCAT BOT Holds 145th Meeting, Swears in New Student Trustee

Today, December 9, 2024, the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) conducted its 145th Board of Trustees Regular Meeting. The session, presided over by CHED Commissioner and BOT Chairperson Hon. Marita R. Canapi, focused on advancing the college’s institutional goals.

 

Key approvals included updates to the organizational structure, administrative appointments, and the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA). The Board also confirmed new personnel hires and formalized partnerships with local and international institutions. Early procurement for infrastructure projects was greenlit, paving the way for campus improvements.

 

Before the meeting, Hon. Johanter Helarion, the newly elected ASSCAT Student Supreme Government (SSG) President, took his oath as the newest Board Member, administered by Hon. Canapi.

 

College President Joy C. Capistrano and fellow Board members, along with resource persons, were present at the meeting, navigating the roadmap for ASSCAT’s continued excellence and growth.
